MY TRANSFORMATION TO A NEW QUALITY OF LIFE
LET ME TAKE YOU ON A JOURNEY THROUGH MY STORY

ABOUT ME

A Personal Story of Falling and Rising Again

My full name is Dmytro Stepanenko, but everyone calls me Dima and this is my path - my transformation.

I’m not a doctor or a scientist. But I’ve lived through something that changed my body, mind, and life - and that gives me the right to speak.

At 260 lb, I suffered from severe health problems, panic attacks, and was drowning in pharmaceuticals. I ended up in a psychiatric hospital, told I’d never escape the cycle.

But I did.

I found a different way - through plant-based living, therapeutic fasting, and inner work.

I’m here to share what helped me heal - and to inspire others to take back control of their lives.

Plant-based food and therapeutic fasting didn't just heal me - it's brought me back to life

How I Found My Way Out

The solution turned out to be shockingly simple - and radically effective.

No complex protocols. No more pills.

Just a complete shift to plant-based nutrition

and the regular practice of 36-hour fasting cycles.

This change didn’t just help me recover - it gave me back my clarity, energy, and sense of self.

I began to feel stronger. Lighter. Alive.

It was as if my body remembered how to heal - once I stopped interfering.

It Was a Breakthrough

It felt like a light at the end of the tunnel before the breakthrough.
A new chapter of life unfolding right before my eyes.
For the first time in years, I felt hope - real, grounded hope.
Not from a prescription, but from within.
That moment marked the beginning of something bigger than healing.
It was the start of transformation.
Vegan food that even meat-eaters love

The Birth of MAMA VEGAN

That’s when MAMA VEGAN was born.

A project created with one clear mission:

to show that plant-based food isn’t just “salad and seeds.”

Veganism can be delicious, nourishing, and truly enjoyable -

not just for vegans, but even for lifelong meat lovers.

Mama Vegan wasn’t just about recipes.

It was about proving that conscious eating

can be a lifestyle full of flavor, joy, and creativity.

The Beginning of Growth
That realization became the turning point.
I began to rebuild my life - and from that inner transformation, a new project was born.
We launched Mama Vegan.
What started as a small idea quickly gained momentum.
People resonated with our message, and the demand grew.
We found ourselves not just healing - but building something that others could be a part of.
It was no longer just about me.
It became a movement.
From Street Food to a Recognized Vegan Brand
MAMA VEGAN entered the Ukrainian market with energy and soul - starting as a humble street food project and quickly evolving into a full-fledged brand.
What began with simple plant-based meals soon expanded into a diverse menu:
 • vegan versions of popular non-vegan salads
 • refined sugar-free desserts
 • and even fully raw creations
We proved that conscious eating could be exciting, accessible, and loved by everyone - not just health enthusiasts, but entire families.
Mama Vegan became more than just food - it became a movement.

Scaling the Vision

As MAMA VEGAN grew, we began partnering with cafés and small craft stores across Ukraine.

But our vision was bigger - we aimed to bring plant-based products into major retail chains.

To prepare for that leap, I enrolled in 'Фуд Просвiта' (Fud Prosvita, Food Enlightenment) - a specialized training program created by 'Ciльпо' (Silpo), one of Ukraine’s largest supermarket chains owned by Fozzy Food.

There, I gained insight into how the food industry really works - from product development and packaging to certifications and retail distribution.

This experience gave me the tools and understanding needed to bring a clean, conscious vegan brand into the mainstream.
